1. we stayed for new year's, reserving only the night before, the staff was very accommodating, we requested a view and we got a corner room overlooking downtown.

2. Some remodeling has been done, apparently mostly in lobby area, the size of our room would better have accommodated one king bed rather than two doubles, it was clean but carpet should have been replaced long ago, just seemed a little tired.
