2. After attending the wedding at the 'other' hotel, we saw that it was lovely and the grounds were breathtaking, but we prefered the quiet and laid-back feel of the Lodge on the Desert.

7. The grounds were lovely, the staff incredibly accommodating and helpful, and the onsite restaurant very delicious.

8. So othere are some staffing or communication issues, and those are resolved, and the spit and polish is applied (repair broken blinds, carpet stains) to this otherwise lovely property I would give it an unqualified recommendation.
