3. We will definitely choose the Lodge in the future, as it was much quieter and more to our taste and comfort level than the huge, impersonal resort up the road.
"Stay Here, Not at the Resort!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/8/2011 Vote
4. On the plus side the room was huge and very clean, but this is essentially a country club rather than a hotel, and there are none of the usual hotel amenities that you would expect, such as a small shop to purchase items, and the room corridors are bare with no effort made to make them pleasant.
"Not a Resort " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/1/2010 Vote
5. It's a huge facility but there are not that many rooms.
"Very comfortable and dog friendly " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/11/2009 Vote

8. The pool is extremely basic for a hotel of this supposed class, and is a very long walk across a huge parking lot (no path or walkway) from the lobby.
"awful experience, never again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/12/2009 Vote
9. The rooms are huge but somewhat dated (except the bathroom with was fabulous), the kitchen was old and shabby and the appliances ancient (looked to be at least 20-30 years old), and the silverware/plates old and sparse (I think we had 3 spoons, 2 forks and a knife).
"awful experience, never again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/12/2009 Vote
