5. The only good point is it was raining when I was there and it was very convenient and they have a inside walk through the convention area, so this was a ++ for this situation, all the rest it is a Marriot Hotel, nothing much different that you can expect to get from what you are paying for.

6. The hotel is conveniently located and the rooms are very nice, especially the rooms with a balcony overlooking the marina.

7. The trolley stops right in front of the hotel (which can cause some noise during the night) but is very convenient to get to all of the interesting sights in San Diego.

PROs: - very conveniently located next to the conference center and on the waterfront- large, nicely designed pool area- good gym- comfortable rooms and bed- Friendly and helpful activities desk- complimentary hotel water shuttle to CoronadoDRAWBACKs:- Noisy rooms with a city view (this is the main reason for my 3-star rating, which otherwise would have been 4 stars).

9. Very convenient location as noted by everyone - right next to the convention center and across the street from the Gaslamp district, so it's considered within stumbling distance from the drunken reveling that is Market Street.
