1. I would like to suggest they consider installing magnified (make-up) mirrors for ladies - given how many of us travel for business today.

3. There is not much around the hotel but we were able to walk to a chain restaurant (Chilies or Applebees), a store to buy alcohol, a used book store, and a delicious breakfast place called Big Apple Bagle or something like that.
