1. Even our daughter remarked that this was a really nice property, and wondered why this was the 1st time we had chosen to stay here? (Our hotel of preference is usually at the Downtown Marriott Hotel when visiting Salt Lake) .

2. The hotel itself is unremarkable other than the nice grounds, the great location (although adjacent Pioneer Park earns its reputation as a homeless mecca honestly), and the friendly staff.

3. The grounds were clean, rooms were clean, the pool area was basic and relaxing, and had a nice view of the mountains.

4. Aside from the hot water issue everything else was nice, including the comfy bed and the breakfast offerings were probably the best of the trip.

6. The daily breakfast was nice and although wasn't the best, it definateley did the trick and was totally adequate for any type of eater.
