1. If you are used to having a hot breakfast at a Hampton Inn, then you will be greatly disappointed -- I know my kids and I were.

4. This place was a great overnight stop for us - near I-5 highway, the hotel and rooms were clean, the rooms big and beds pretty comfy, and for $51 including tax it was really good value.

Kai Sheng, General Manager should be very proud of what he has accomplished at Howard Johnson inn, Salem, OR, the place was one of the best organized inns I have stayed at, the breakfast was great , the room was great and impeccability cleaned each and every day I was there, Kai also secured my boarding passes from Southwest for my flight home, there wasn't a time nor did it matter what time is was, Kai was always there to help anyone and everyone who needed his help, many thanks Kai and I will not hesitate to book Howard Johnson Inn, Salem, OR when and I return to Salem ,ORthanks KaiBob Molter.
