1. My husband and I were just looking for something cheap and affordable without the perks as we often dine out and delve into the craft beer scene when we are in the city instead - so accommodation can often be a last resort thing for both of us.

2. Free breakfast, free parking, and a kitchenette - what more can you ask for? This is not a fancy hotel by any means, but if you're looking for an affordable, clean hotel near downtown Portland - this is it.
