1. The staff is friendly, breakfast is always included (a real time-saver) the room was quiet, and did I mention the tempur-pedic bed? The area feels very safe, and has restaurants and shopping close by.

The rooms were quiet (although the in-room ventilation systems are always too loud for sleeping), the pool was a pleasant surprise (nice size and space, well-kept), the bar was better than I expected, and the rooms were nice-sized - we got a suite for $129 - the bed was comfortable, service was good.

6. quiet and most furnishings are new, you can still tell it is an older hotel that has been renovated, staff is great and fastavoid Shilo Restaurant next door, one of the slowest cheeseburgers I have been served in my whole life.
