1. Newspapers were supposed to be available, but staff, who were not helpful at all and had a bad attitude, said they had decided to discontinue those.

Between the two rooms, I could not help but notice burn holes in the curtains and comforters, stains on the carpet and walls, a broken dial on the thermostat, the pervasive odor of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room, garbage laying around the parking lot, and a poor seal on the doorway which really seemed to amplify the sound of the tram going by.
