1. It would have been nice to be able to use the computer/internet for free, but for some reason they (like many hotels) love to nickel and dime you on this.

2. Happy Hour at the deLuxe is reasonable and very long winded, from 2-6pm and 9pm - close, and many of the same appetizers and bites from Gracies are available, which meant we showed up three days straight.

3. I would definitely stay here again and high recommend it the rate was we received was very reasonable and I found this comparable to Kimpton Hotels which we often stay at.

6. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are just my style, a mix of modern and vintage, and I even thought the price for valet parking was fairly reasonable (as these things go).

8. The staff alone is reason to come here Although it's clearly a very old hotel, it reeks with charm and the upkeep is really quite wonderful.

9. All of the above reasons are fundamentals, but I find often hotels that meet my needs there have workers with an air of arrogance or stuffiness that is definitely not welcoming.
