If you enjoy smaller, more intimate properties that offer attractive and comfortable
accommod

I have never before sent the woman responsible for booking our
accommod

The staff was as
accommodating
as they could be - the only reason I could not give them 5 stars is because they did not have our room ready after we had notified them we were arriving and needed early check in time to prepare for a wedding.

Having lived in Philadelphia for almost 5 years, I'm very familiar with the city and the
accommod
ations available and have to say that this is by far the most impressed I've been with any hotel in the area (including some of the pricier Rittenhouse-area hotels like the Rittenhouse right up the street).

)The various staff members we encountered throughout our stay were extremely friendly and
accommodating
-- everything from setting up a trolley tour for us to getting us a cab to take us to dinner (and then writing down all the cab info for our return trip) to printed-out directions to the subway (just a few blocks away) to take us to the football game.

A good alternative with better service, in my opinion, would be the Rittenhouse Hotel, or if you want to stay on the other end of downtown, the Penn`s View is in the same price range with similar
accommod
ations.
