1. Was our room haunted? You be the judge: the tv was on most evenings when we would come in and then would go off all by itself and, no, there was no sleep timer set; things fell off of surfaces for no reason and when we asked if others had reported similar things in room 616, we were casually told that it was probably 'Rose' who is said to roam the building.

2. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that the computer I had to use to print out boarding passes was an ancient dinosaur stuck in an airless windowless room across from the main desk ,and it took me three times as long to quickly reference and print out what we needed.

3. The only reason we kept our reservation was the hotel would not allow cancellations unless they were made 2 days prior to your stay (I've NEVER heard of a hotel that will not allow a cancellation).

5. Unfortunately, we had to spend our last night at this hotel because we booked late and all of the more reasonably-priced hotels in the French Quarter or Warehouse district were booked.

10. We had to have our room key to get into the annex hotel and that was for security reasons, well it really didn't matter because the hotel staff kept leaving the exit door open with a towel, probably one of the wash clothes we needed.
