1. The second was out of service the whole time- not a big issue, but not all that convenient either.

The rooms are small, and yes, the elevator situation is not convenient, although - again - if you can strike the right tone with the front desk you'll find that they'll tip you off to good suggestions (such as where the service elevator is, which helped us circumvent the really long walk each time we went up to our room.
