8. The free 'Bright Side' continental breakfast (plus waffles) was a dollar saver, and while I found some of the available breakfast food options uninspiring, they were included in the room rate after all and probably kept me from overindulging.

9. But we made it by walking all around the Quarter with dinner and shopping without too much complaining, and the kids were beat by the time we made it back safe and event free.
