After speaking with hotel desk personnel and telling her about $59-$79 reduced-rate flyer card I'd been given at New Orleans welcome Center, Charlene (I think that was her name), who was extremely nice and friendly and stated she works front desk, told me, yes, she could and would honor the card, but I'd need to present it at same-day check-in.
