2. I don`t expect much from a 2-star hotel, but daily maid service and fresh coffee are Hotel Management 101 as far as I`m concerend.

3. There is no maid service for stays shorter than seven nights, so if you want fresh towels or your linens changed you have to request it and pay for the privilege.
