1. We were close enough to enjoy the Christmas events at the Opryland Hotel but at a much more reasonable price.

2. Main reason to stay here, if you're not an airport customer, would be that it's a good bit cheaper than either Downtown or the Vandy area, and unlike some cities, Nashville's airport is only about 5 miles from Downtown.
