2. This hotel is our 'go-to' for family visits in Memphis as it has comfortable beds, self-serve washer/dryers; decent breakfast--nothing fancy--just fruit, waffles, toast, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, teas, etc.

3. We called around to local hotels at 2 in the morning to try to find a decent and safe place to stay, after looking at the exterior of 3 other hotels we called the La Quinta which was next on the list.
