3. The manager recommended another room on the 3rd level but didn't work out and then finally we ended up in a room on the 6th but away from the DJ so it was bearable.

7. If you are a first time visitor and looking to do the tourist sites Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Universal Studios etc i would probably not recommend this hotel.

The location is a block`s walk to the bike path on Venice Beach, which is great, the price was reasonable compared to Santa Monica, and the friendliness of the staff was really nice, but the problems make me hesitate to recommend the place, particularly to anyone to whom room type is important.
