1. It sits parallel to one of the runways so if you like to watch the planes land and take off, request a room like I did.

4. Traffic around the LAX airport loop is always full, so the smart hotels send out like two or three shuttles at the same time to continue to pick up customers around the clock.

5. The pictures do not look like the rooms provided, the windows were filthy the shower bath had the linoleum half missing from the bottom of the bath so there was no way i was getting in it and it looked dirty.

6. I stayed with three kids and no joke, this pool is 3x the size of most hotel pools and is heated like a jacuzzi.

7. The hotel is a little dark and dingy looking but I think it is mostly just terribly old-fashioned like a hotel from the 80's.

10. Our room had a great view of the runway so if you like to plane spot, you'll love this (just ask reception for the right room)The beds are strange and need some fine tuning to get the firmness just right.
