Parking is cheap (15 day) and you can come and go as you like with no worries as there is a security guard always on duty and you need a card to access guest floors (felt very safe)Doors locked after hours, need card for entry --again felt very safeFree coffee and fresh cookies both very good and to my surprise the coffee was always hot.

4. Their 4th floor gym gives you the basics for a good workout, with multiple cardio machines, a combo Nautilus type machine, and free weights, and offers a big screen TV, current magazines, fresh towels and chilled water.

5. Forget those musty florals and cherry wood of the Courtyards of the mid-90s ~ the lobby and guest rooms were fresh with a great So Cal vibe ~ wenge wood in the lobby (and a mini-market of fresh and shelf-stable meals and snacks), Lucite panels with bamboo back-lit in the elevators.

6. Clean, wide hallways, nicely decorated, new carpeting, clean & fresh rooms, new TV, coffeemaker (increasingly rare).
