3. We had complimentary airline tickets to select cities, so we elected to fly to Miami and rent a car for the drive out to Key West, since the travel channel had named it the second best in the country next to the Pacific Coast Highway on some show my wife had watched.

6. Our room was upstairs on the far back SW corner of the hotel, which was probably the best location because it was the most shady and quiet.
