1. Lots of young people around, and the staff was always more interested in continuing a conversation with friends than attending to guests.

3. We stayed one night at this La Quinta in July 2011 - we tend to stay in La Quinta hotels because we travel with our dog, and the entire chain is very pet friendly, so we're very familiar with the brand, and know what to expect.
