1. The toilet was not clean, thought nothing of it, until I later discovered bed bugs in the mattress.

4. The room was very clean, the towels weren't bad, and the location was convenient (easy access to the loop, I-10, and 290, plus several options for routes during rush hour).

7. Was surprised to find a nicely tiled bathroom, clean carpet, freshly painted walls, and a desk, sofa, fridge, microwave, cable tv and a clean breakfast area (which was basic with juices, grits, oatmeal, cereal, and muffins).

The staff is very polite, its very clean, I never saw any insect at my room (just a couple of mosquitoes at rain season), continental breakfast is OK, very quiet, no hidden fees for parking or any other, near to highway but far enough to avoid noise, walking distance to small shopping area, very safe neighborhood, away from busy or populated areas.
