This hotel is right accross from the baseball park and a about a 5-8 minute walk from the Shops at Downtown Houston (or something
like
that), which has a foodcourt and numerous other shopping stores.

Plus our ceiling fan did not work so we could not drown any noise down (

Nothing
like
showing up at a boutique hotel for a conference being held across the street at 12:30 AM and being told the hotel had overbooked and was moving you.

I
liked
the ceiling fan but agree that the ceiling light is not very bright; however, I disagree that the bedside lamps did not provide enough reading light.

FYI, my kids' sleeping bags are really more
like
rolled-up blankets, and they fit in our suitcase so it wasn't
like
we were walking in toting huge rucksacks on our backs, haha.
