1. As a note, this is called 'Downtown' and the location is quite convenient, however, you should know that it isn't a convenient location for walking to restaurants.

In sum, if you`re looking for an affordable option that is convenient for touring Houston sites (or for business within Loop 610), and don`t want to stay in a bed-and-breakfast, I think this is probably one of the best options in Houston (I drove around Houston for five days and didn`t see any other comparable-class hotel in the vicinity -- only luxury hotels in downtown and in the Galleria area).

4. I was visiting Houston for the first time, and wanted a place that was convenient to downtown (ie, not out by Galleria or the Astrodome), affordable (less than $100 per night, and no hidden fees like parking for the downtown luxury hotels), private (ie not a bed a breakfast).
