On the positive side, the Ritz-Carlton, world renowned hotel, graciously offered us a beautiful room overlooking Denver, complimentary wine at arrival at 9:30pm, complimentary valet, and complimentary breakfast for the same price of just a room (albeit one that was sold to someone else) at the Brown Palace.
