3. The typical choice hotel hot breakfast was offered in the morning and it was good, however, the meandering, twisting hallways (with arrow signs pinned on walls like paint marks on a hiking trail) that eventually led to the breakfast room left 'Hotel California' playing in my head.

9. There was a large fan running in the middle of the room - evidently to help dry the carpet, but the windows were closed, so the room felt like a tropical rainforest.
