1. Crowne Plazas in the San Francisco area at least are quite nice, like Hiltons or Sheratons, but this is like they bought a best Western and stuck their name on it.

8. It`s now a Crowne Plaza and although still a large collection of rectangles they have done their best to spruce up the outside with paint, stonework and shutters.
