1. One time I did have a room that smelled like smoke, but we were able to move to a different room.

4. We like the Marriott chain and look to the Fairfield Inns for clean, inexpensive lodgings.

7. Not only were they were gracious enough to let us use their pool when they didn't have to, they also treated us like guests when we asked if we could take the towels from the towel racks with us back to our hotel with the promise of returning them once I got dried off and dressed.
