1. The lobby is strange--it looks like it should be an atrium (like an embassy suites) but it just large with tables and a water feature.

4. And the next day everyone I encountered with details (like removing personal items left in reception hall overnight) they jumped in and helped load in car - refusing to be tipped.

6. The comforters were covered not with a duvet but with sort of like two sheets- one on top and one on bottom, so you could see the comforter when the bed got messed up.

9. One of the things that struck me was that the staff of the hotel truly likes dogs (as opposed to merely tolerating them).
