1. If you are looking for a decent, roomy, comfortable, clean, perfectly located place to stay, check out the Jockey Club.

4. Initially the layout seems a little awkward and unorganized but in the end, once I figured out all the little intricacies of the location, the hotel was actually a decent place.

5. There is a small semi-covered pool on the property (salt water though, kind of gross), barbecue grills, and a decent fitness facility.

8. What you will get however is a nice, small, pleasant, clean hotel with very friendly helpful staff, a nice large room with a decent sized bathroom, living area and a great little kitchen area should you wish to prepare any of your own food.

9. Several times one or the other of us returned to the JC alone late at night, and felt safe doing so (lots of foot traffic, decent lighting, always staff at the side entrance, etc).
