1. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, great hot breakfast, free parking, Balcony in standard room, clean pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room.

8. As long as you get in before 7am you can drive in and stay in, and if you have a National Parks Pass the entry is free, otherwise there is a $10 charge using the honours system (beware, someone told us they didn't pay and were charged a $50 fine).

9. I found that the big attraction of the hotel was the ambience, which was welcoming with relaxing if somewhat old-fashioned lounge areas, free beverages and cookies during the day, free internet and newspapers.
