1. He told me 3 different times I didn't have one - even when I presented the confirmation number - and just stared at me like, 'well, I can't help you so what now?' This is very unusual for a Marriott property - I typically find their staff to be great and properties to be just okay - the opposite of Hiltons.

5. We chose the Fairfield Inn because we like the small, more intimate size of the hotel and our family LOVES the very large pool in a glass building in the courtyard of the hotel.

6. like others have mentioned, getting to this hotel can be tricky and you definitely need to get correct directions, because we even ended up getting confused by Google's directions and found it by going a different route.

9. For the money, I felt like I should have just gone to the Hampton nearby (where you get a 'hot' breakfast for just a bit more.

10. But the hotel was apparently packed and I felt like I would have been better off just going down the street a couple of blocks to the Village Inn to get breakfast.
