2. However the second time we stayed we were put on the 6th floor and the room really smelled like tobacco even though this is a non smoking facility.

3. The hotel room was pristine with granite counter tops, like new refrigerator, wetbar and a huge 40", high definition flat screen tv mounted on wall, xbox, ps3 ready.

4. Our daughter stayed there with her cheerleading group and they had 4-5 to a room and seemed to make it work like teenagers can.

6. The prices are quite affordable (below $150/night) and I really like the Hyatt Place brand and conveniences that they've made, which is the same at all Hyatt Place hotels.

7. The Uptown location is right across the street from a terrific shopping center with upscale stores and decent restaurants (we liked Bravo--an Italian chain restaurant but the food rivaled mid-range San Francisco Italian--not bad).
