1. I was one of the earliest reviewers of this motel almost five years ago, and the good news is that the Monterey is still a great and inexpensive place to stay.

3. The decor isn't the most up to date, but the linens are crisp and clean, the carpet and tile are new, and the place is extremely well taken care of.

10. Yes, it may not in the best section of town and yes, it is dated BUT what do you want for the really great price? We travelled around new Mexico for a week and stayed at more expensive hotels but we have fond memories of the place and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
"great value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/30/2010 Vote
