1. I've been staying here for years, and they've made some major improvements in the last couple of years--better security, high speed internet, new paint, etc.

4. There was some guy just hanging out on the upper floor - I went to the office to let them keep an eye on him - I walked in there was a San Francisco Police officer chatting at the front desk AND they had an evening security guard starting who walked around all night.

5. There are secure gates to keep people off the street from getting to the rooms above (all the cruising comments must be old).

6. but see also next comments+ VERY clean room and always fresh towels+ the free parking ++++ safe and secure place to stay+ EXCELLENT location - just some steps from the MUNI and from Castro bars/restaurants+ very good FREE Wifi internet* the bath was very good equiped and VERY cleanwell some improvemet is also necessary - no iron in the rooms and also no such service, no microwave- the loundry is till 1-2 p.

9. If you want a hotel in which to spend a lot of time this is probably not for you but if you want somewhere secure, convenient location and reasonably priced then this is worth considering.
