4. It is a very good budget option in San Francisco, especially if you book through Hostelbooker where the prices are quite a bit lower than if you go through Expedia.

9. How can you beat a queen room with private bath (gorgeous new tile) and expanded continental breakfast, in a nice, safe part of the city, for $99 a night? This is the kind of B and B we have stayed in all over Europe and it is good value.

10. The building is in a good location: it is around 10 to 15 minutes by bus from Union Square; it is a five-minute walk to the famous Union St Shops, it is a five-minute walk to the wonderful restaurants of Chestnut Street, and it is within walking distance to the Presidio.
