1. Lucky for us, it wasn't hot when we were there so the lack of air conditioning was a non-issue, except for the fact we didn't have the benefit of an air conditioner to drown out the noisy bar downstairs.

3. As with many places in SF, there is no air conditioning, which was not a problem, except that this means that you may need to leave your window open, which exposes you to the noise of people standing and talking late at night outside of nearby taverns.
