3. We chose to stay at Midway as opposed to downtown hotels to be closer to the concert venue which was the main reason for our stay in Chicago.

4. Most of the hotels downtown were sold out (or ridiculously overpriced for the holiday) and I found the Marriott to be reasonable ($159/night).
