1. Found the location ideally situated - from front door, 10secs to subway/10min walk to Bryant Park, 15min walk to Rock Center with lots of cool shopping, abundant restaurants/coffee shops/take out in between.

4. We ended up keeping the thermostat low and turning the fan off except for a short period when we got back to the room at the end of the day and/or before going to bed, and the room was comfortable that way--but we like cool rooms.

5. When it is cold outside, do not dress up before you get to the lobby or you will cook waiting for the elevator and then the numerous stops until you reach where it is actually cool.
