1. Breakfast was not included in the room rate although complimentary cookies, freshly baked every day, were in the lobby for all guests as well as orange-flavored water.

We were told the hotel had opened around the beginning of 2008, which would explain the freshness of everything as well the confusion in the restaurant which, though far from busy, took over an hour from the time of seating to produce and serve a simple breakfast for one person (at that, the toast was cold and came too late to enjoy with the omelet).
