1. Are there more fancy hotels in the city? Yes, but is the price worth it when the majority of the time is spent outside the room? I go to NYC for NYC not the hotel room, so I was EXTREMELY pleased with the price, location, and quality of the hotel.

2. A slight mix up on the booking found us in a very small dark and dingy room, the staff at reception did move us to the correct room but got the impression they weren't overly pleased about doing this.

9. I considered hotels out of new york purely for free parking so was very pleased when I found the Travel Inn as its on the doorstep of the action, but offers somewhere free to park your car.
