2. My daughter and I stayed at Chelsea Pines in december just before xmas a treat for her 18th birthday, the inn was brilliant all the staff very friendly there was a birthday card and flowers in the room on our arrival, what a lovely jesture.

6. There are deli's, pizza etc also across the street and a brilliant laundromat ($8 for up to 10lb bag for them to wash and fold for you while you keep sightseeing-same day service if drop early.

7. All in all The Chelsea Pines is a brilliant place to stay, my only criticsm being that Charlie the cat didn't want to have anything to do with me.

8. The rooms are always spotless and have a welcoming feel about them - NY is a brilliant city and you can literally lose track of time exploring - but it was great to know we had somewhere comfortable and friendly to come home to.
