4. The room was spacious and attractively decorated, but no microwave or refrigerator (apparently you can request a refrigerator and they'll bring one to you) Unfortunately the heat did not work properly in either of our two rooms, even after the engineer 'fixed' it.

6. Brand new stylish rooms and decor, far away from the usual, nice staff, attractive views on higher floors and from the bar on the 9th floor makes the hotel our favourite in SD.

However, I'm not sure I'd recommend this place to anyone who is NOT a dog fan since there were dogs of all sizes (and with all levels of obedience training) everywhere around the hotelThose disclaimers out of the way, I'll say that this is a hip, stylish hotel with friendly staff, good food, and within walking distance of a lot of attractions.

10. You can walk to all the shopping and nightlife in the Gaslamp District, and other SD attractions like the zoo are just a short drive away.
