1. ' Yeah, well, I don't enjoy staying in hotels that look like someone was just murdered inside and the staff didn't even bother to clean up.

3. From the Cheetos wrapper, mystery stains and stabbing-like rips in the sheets, to towel bars ripped off the walls, rust stains in the bathtub.

5. I was surprised that a large chain like Travelodge would allow such poor service but this hotel obviously doesn't cater to repeat customers (with the possible exception of the prostitutes upstairs).

6. Room wise, they wanted to put us in a one bed room at first until I requested 2 beds like my reservation said, they were fine with that.

8. Room smelled nostalgically like the old bowling alley in my hometown, (built many decades ago, smoked in constantly but not recently) had to plug everything in (I guess that is standard hotel practice?) no remote, TVs are effed up ([both mine and other reviewers] colors way off and blurry and crack pipe melted into the top) and someone had spilled something syrupy all over the alarm clock; had to get my fingers sticky to force the buttons into place.
