1. There are excellent restaurants within a few blocks (The List and Local 360, and HopVine if you're willing to go as far as 15th).

2. That was fine, there's an Irish pub on the back side of the block (not the douchey one down by the market place) that had excellent food at excellent prices and the nicest staff we've ever encountered in downtown Seattle.
