of liveried footmen.

helpful
except for the person at the desk when we left - we asked for help with the bags (as others have mentioned, it is a bit of a schlep up the steep stairs) and he ignored the request.

The staff was extremely
helpful
and the breakfast was good (more comparable to the kind of 'continental' breakfast you get in an independent European hotel than at an American chain).
