3. There were also some nice extras like the papaya, bananas, and freshly baked goods every morning and coffee, they have a nice little garden - just watch the mosquitos.

5. Hilo is not a glamourous town and the Dolphin Bay Hotel is not a glamourous hotel, go to Kona if you want luxury, but we thought that it was very good value and had a wonderful stay.

8. The reason I gave this hotel a very good instead of excellent? Two reasons: No smoke detector in the room and the bathroom could have used a better cleaning.

9. When we got to the hotel, Sue brought us to our room, the lights were on and she gave us a tour of the rooms and explained everything to us, like what time the coffee and baked goods would be in the lobby the next morning.
